A Message About: Men’s Small Group

Men’s Group: At the end of 2023 I was having breakfast with Mother Beth. In a wide ranging conversation she challenged me to lead a Men’s Group for the Church. I put out emails to contacts we had for church members inviting anyone that wanted to participate to join us for breakfast at 6:30am beginning January 2024. There were four or five us in the core group and those men are still with the group. We meet every Friday at 6:30 for fellowship and a Bible-focused conversation time. We just finished studying the life of Joseph and soon we are going to start a study of Jesus’ Parables. The conversation is fun, the Bible study is beneficial, but having a group of men willing to pray for you when needed is a great comfort. We also help around the church whenever possible. The Men’s Group meets at Picadillo’s restaurant on Hwy. 281 and Bulverde Rd, on the southwest corner next to the gas station.
