Worship Ministries

Acolyte

Our Children and Youth Acolytes assist the priest and lay ministers with our Sunday Worship and other seasonal worship opportunities. Ages 8-18 are invited to join in this ministry as they commit to serve by bringing up the gifts (bread and wine) and the offering plate to the altar, carrying the cross and banners, and setting the altar for communion. If you would like more information on this ministry or to get involved please click the button below and fill out the form.

Altar Team

Our Altar Team is a dedicated group of people of all ages who help prepare the altar for our Sunday Worship. AV/Tech Team

Our AV and Tech ministers help lead worship by assisting with sound, online streaming, and connecting with our online congregation. Children’s Chapel

This child-friendly worship service takes place in the Children’s Chapel during the 9:30 a.m. worship. It is for children ages 3yrs to 3rd grade. Children who are in 4th grade and up are encouraged to help and assist our adult chapel volunteers. Hospitality Hosts

Set up and serve snacks and drinks after worship, then tidy up. Two hosts needed each Sunday—one for the 8:00 a.m. service, and one for the 9:30 a.m. service. If you would like more information on this ministry or to get involved please click the button below and fill out the form.

Music Ministers

PrayGround

Our children at St. Nick’s are invited to the PrayGround; a space for them to pray and to play during our worship services. Our goal is to offer a space where families are encouraged to worship together, and children are welcomed and cherished in worship, so that all members of our community know that they are immeasurably loved by God. Families and Youth play a crucial role in walking alongside our young children, as they learn to worship God. Families are encouraged to sign up to take care of this space weekly. Readers/Eucharistic Ministers

Ushers

Make sure everyone can share in the Lord’s table! Help guide people during communion. Let the priests know when someone needs communion in another area of the church. Welcome Team

• Greeters

• Invite Welcome Connect

Our Invite/Welcome/Connect team welcomes the congregation and visitors into our space. They provide information about our church and hand out visitor cards and post cards for special events.
