Giving with Gratitude – A Season of Commitment

Dear Friends,

As the seasons turn and the air begins to change, so too does our community life take on a new rhythm. This month, we begin our Giving with Gratitude season (Stewardship, but St. Nick’s-style!)—a time rooted not in spreadsheets, budgets or stress, but in gratitude, joy, and our shared belief that God is doing something beautiful through us.

I have the joy of serving as your Giving with Gratitude Coordinator, helping our community focus on the blessings that flow when we give, grow, and dream together. This will be the first official Stewardship season at St. Nick’s because financial giving here has always been more about heart before numbers—it’s about recognizing the gifts that have shaped us, the generosity that has sustained us, and the shared vision that calls us toward a bright future.

Over the coming weeks, you will learn (or re-learn) about stewardship as a spiritual practice, hear stories of giving with gratitude, see the fruits of faithful giving, and be invited to make your own financial commitment for the year ahead. Each commitment—large or small—is an act of faith that keeps our ministries thriving, our doors open, and our love for the wider community growing.

This is a joyful season of belonging and blessing. Come with hearts open to the Spirit’s work among us. Together, let’s celebrate all that we have been given—and all that we can become—through God’s generous grace.
